To understand the different software approaches to conducting analysis. To share information and identify best practices, ultimately leading to potential collaboration on developing better tools for linked data analysis.

Intended benefits

Complexity of analysis and the amount of technical skill required are both barriers to unlocking the full potential of linked data. If some of the complexity could be reduced through the use of the right software or the development of new software tools, it would be a great benefit to the field. Given that many centres are facing similar problems, it would be beneficial to work together to explore solutions.

Planned activities

The initial step will be to conduct a survey of how analysis is conducted by different centres, what tools are currently being used, and what the perceived needs are.
