The overall aim of the programme is to bring together researchers and practitioners from various research disciplines and application domains to foster exchange between different parts of the mathematical sciences where the topics of data linkage and anonymisation are being addressed, as well as between researchers investigating data linkage and privacy protection. The first day will be titled New Approaches to Anonymisation, the second will be on Engaging People in Data Privacy.
Both days are aimed at a general audience and are likely to be of particular interest to UKAN members. The aim of the symposium is to provide participants with an understanding of the latest developments in data privacy. The symposium will be free to attend and you will be able to register for just one day or both.
